Saving time and water to make corn on the cob.

This how I do corn on the cob. Since only 2 out of four in this family  eat corn on the cob, while waste a gallon of water and the steam it creates on the stove top.
Instead I use the Tupperware steamer. I put 1/4 cup water into bottom pan and then steamer insert and then cover. Stick it in microwave for 8 min. Nice and steaming hot.
This steamer is widely available on the secondary market. Tupperware’s  newest version is like $129.00. Sorry I’m not spending that kind of money on something I use only during the spring and summer months.
I use to use the round steamer as well , I just prefer this long one because it lets me do more ears at a time , if I need to.
Check all your online sellers. I’d recommend checking Poshmark because their shipping is gonna be more reasonable for this piece.
